My 2012 New Year’s Resolutions

I guess I should create a quick blog post before I go out this evening and before this year is over. Sadly, I was unsuccessful at accomplishing this year’s goals (I blame it on the new job and my cat) but I promise I will resolve a few of these items next year! Also, stay tuned for a blog post on how to start your own electronic/synth pop band.

Last Year’s

  1. Launch Filmbuild - Fail
  2. Sell TampaSportsFitness.com, asking price is $600 - Fail, I bumped it up to $1,000 because friends and family members are saying it’s worth more than $600. I need to find an unbiased appraisal service.
  3. Buy a Canon 7D EOS when FilmBuild becomes successful - Fail, still pending on the launch of FilmBuild
  4. Take up boxing, I started by joining a Boxing Gym - Fail, but I did take up another sport that is keeping me active: Tennis
  5. Visit another country - Fail, it’s not going to happen anytime soon but my buddies and I are talking about going to Vegas next March, does that count?
  6. Blog more - Fail
  7. Make my own soap, the recipe will be based on my late Grandpa’s recipe - Fail
  8. Build a robot , possibly based off the Arduino platform - Fail, but I made major progress on it recently

    I could not resist, this is too good.

    Steven, you are fully capable of deciding your own destiny. The question you face is: which path will you choose? This is something only you can decide. — Spock’s dad, no joke.

    Syntax Highlighting

    I’m testing a new plugin at the moment for my website, hopefully it will highlight the code I post on stevenwaters.com

         $(document).ready(function(){

          //This initializes jQuery!

         });
